It would be perfect if it ha permanent bottom rack and the bottom pan would be resting on it. As it is, when I slide the bottom pan out for cleaningm there is nothing below. I don't use the bottom rack provided as it is above the pan and my bird doesn't like stepping on the rack when he goes to the bottom.This company is awesome there was a problem with the nesting door missing parts. They just asked for picture of the missing the problem area and they rushed the whole side panel to me. They was very helpful the product is very well build . Only complaint is it is smaller then I expected. Only because I love to put a lot of toys in for my bird thinking on selling this one and getting a larger size.love the quality and the size of this cage for my rose breasted cockatoo. The instruction for assembling this cage are for the birds. We had the refer back to the pictures on the computer several times.. but do love this cage and yes I would buy it again. The next time should be very easy to assemble.Not as tall as expected but perfect for one cockatiel. Just remember when you recover the cage to check the package label envelope because instructions will be in there.Assembly instructions were awful. I had parts left over because I had no idea where it goes according to the poor copy of the "instructions". Should have taken the advise of someone else that wrote the review for the cage. Just hoping it doesn't fall apart one...Great cage birds love it.... The only issue is the catch tray has small gaps that seeds fall thru.this could be because of small food I use and I use cage for parrokets, not parrots. Easy to clean, looks nice , is strong, and just what I needed.GREAT product!!!Very nice cage and does work for cockatiels.. It works better when the top tray is removed since the birds feel to enclosedDon't buy it unless you're absolutely sure you want it. My bird died as they were getting ready to send it but sent it anyway and it cost more than the cage to ship it back.
